Power Vs. Empower

Each time we make a decision in life, we take a risk. A risk of feeling self-doubt which can turn into insecurities such as inadequacy, inferiority, incapable, or unworthy to have joy. When we allow these feelings to rule our decision making, we then limit ourselves and our potential. To get through this, we can shift our thinking into being capable, and intelligent because it is our own beliefs about ourselves have ultimate power on us. When we are feeling insecure and lack of confidence, it is only because we believe it to be a truth deep within. By taking a look, we can often find reasons we feel this way. Maybe you were raised without positive reinforcement, encouragement/praise as a child, in constant criticism, or pressure. Possibly a lack of good energy flow in your life now, with little appreciation. Having a tendency to avoid, feel uncomfortable, or withdraw can reinforce any feelings of insecurities. This can lead to detrimental decisions in our relationships; often hurting ourselves & others without realizing the consequence or effects we leave behind.

Challenge yourself to validate why you feel this way and understand the root cause. By focusing on being capable, intelligent, courageous, & worthy -you can then let go of the doubt, shame, & fear... reclaiming your personal power! Power is not berating, criticizing, or finding weakness/imperfections in others to build yourself up (although you might find false, short-term power in this behavior). Owing your TRUE POWER is KNOWING your value and expressing it through being a giver of love, peace, and joy. This is the only way we can feel true happiness and fulfillment within ourselves. Once we focus on the positive, it becomes easier to BE EMPOWERED (vs. control/force), and become stronger to face the challenges that life has to offer. Realizing that our uniqueness is simply a vessel to show us that we are capable of achieving so much more!
