So many of us go through life aware of underlying pain deep in our awareness, carrying the burdens of pain for so long, that we have forgotten the root cause of it. We then begin to believe that our baggage is part of us, or is apart of our identity. It’s important to acknowledge, honor, and process these deep seeded hurts. Just like that dirty pan that is sitting in your kitchen sink, the longer the "YUCK" sits there, the more stuck it becomes, the harder it can be to remove. However pain will not be ignored, and it shows itself...one way or the other. We have the choice to empower and trust ourselves to resolve it and take action in healing.Just the thought of the past can bring up old "YUCK" we really don't want to look it. "My life is good, or I'm too old, and "why should I"? So, unless we have a good reason, we usually avoid it. Pain can only be stuffed for so long before it changes form and becomes disease, anger, addictions, or unhealthy relationships to name a few. Sooner or later looking at the "hard stuff" will inconvenience us. We have a choice to suffer, or choose FREEDOM & let go of the energy that is committed in holding onto the pain, and begin to LIVE!
The first step in healing is getting in touch with your deep inner wisdom and becoming aware enough to recognize it. Meditation is a great tool for getting a sense of what the root of the pain is. Pain can manifest itself in abandonment, child abuse, or resentment at being mistreated. As we allow ourselves to FEEL the pain, sit with it, we know whether we can handle it by ourselves, or not. Counselors, churches, meditations, and self awareness seminars are great resources for healing support. You will know in your core which one calls to you to resolve the deep seeded "YUCK", so that you can release it fully, and set yourself free! Remember there is never a better time than NOW to have everything in life you deserve! Trust, have faith, and MOVE forward!
